THE JULY RIDE HAS BEEN CANCELED

 Over the Memorial Day Weekend ALR 383 attended several events in the Sacramento Valley.  On Saturday, we attended the ceremonies at the Fair Oaks Cemetery, honoring all Veterans.  There were several distinguished speakers, the American Veteran’s Band, flag ceremony, and wreath presentation. We also attended the “Reading of Names” at the California Veterans’ Memorial” down at the Capitol on Sunday, as well as the events at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon.

 Our last ride in June was to Castello Di Amorosa, Napa Valley’s premier castle winery.  We had a great tour and wine tasting.  From the winery we rode to the Silverado Brewery and Restaurant for lunch.  Leaving Napa Valley, we headed to Rio Vista and on to Locke, stopping at Al the Wops for some cool ones.  It was a long windy ride back into Sacramento, but we all had a great day.
